We are hiring Electrical Engineers for Abu Dhabi UAE
Contract Duration 6 months with possible extension
Candidate must have UAE driving license.
Installation & commissioning of 132/11 kV transmission substations, 11kV Distribution substation equipment by organizing commissioning and installation activities in coordination with sections, departments, contractors/ consultants with an objective of achieving commissioning targets.
Coordination with Distribution Power – Projects & Engineering, Tendering and Engineering, Distribution protection Maintenance and Distribution Asset Management
Operational requirements, Roles and Responsibilities:
• Site data: 132/11kv substations site visits before commence distribution equipments such as 11kV Switchgear, capacitor bank and cables for new projects.
• Design & Drawings: Assist in verification of drawing submittals related to 11kv substation equipment. Assist in review of 11kV equipment design and giving comments for processing the dispatch
• Project execution: Assist in monitoring projects execution and liaising with contractors and sections of company for ensuring timely completion of work. Assist in ensuring that the work is carried out as per company procedures and standards.
• Equipment: Assist in checking the healthiness of the equipment and the distribution system through equipment tests and relay tests before commissioning of substations. Assist in return of substation equipment in coordination with Asset Management and Stores.
• Technical reports: Assist in preparing all relevant technical reports regarding works completion before forwarding them to planning section and other departments of company.
• Handover: Ensure that the commissioned substations are formally handed over to Distribution Asset Management department after completion of works in order to maintain them.
• Coordination: Arrange inter sectional & inter departmental meetings as well as meetings with consultants/contractors in order to resolve works related issues and contribute to efficient work planning and execution.
• Budget: Assist in preparing unit level budget and ensure optimum utilization of the same.
• KPIs: Responsible for assisting in achievement of unit level KPIs.
• Confidentiality: Ensure non-disclosure of confidential information to anyone within or outside the Authority, during or after employment in company.
• Safety: Follow and adhere to the OH&S Management System Manual as per company’s safety standards.
• Others: Perform any other tasks as assigned by the reporting manager.
