Provide quality Customer Service by effectively communicating with Customers by greeting them, giving them fast service with complete sales transactions accurately, answering their queries, and providing assistance and supporting activities to the customers.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Operates all cash register equipment, to quickly and accurately process customer transactions while following company procedures.
2. Secure the cash available with the transaction and deposit it to the chief cashier end of the shift
3. Operate a cash register by scanning items using barcodes across the cash scanner.
4. Calculate the correct cash amount due for the customer-purchased items
5. Report to the superior for any barcode issues in the POS.
6. Maintain appropriate cash levels in POS drawers and ensure that the register area is stocked with appropriate supplies such as shopping bags, cash rolls, E-vouchers or coupons etc.
7. Ensure visibility of prices to customers through the monitor screen.
8. Ensure that all customers are promoted to the Tamayaz card and use it as per the policy.
9. Shall perform the (Mobile POS) service to the customers as and when required.
10. Segregate and sort customer’s purchased items according to category and bag them properly
11. Return damaged items and items brought to cash and not purchased to the prospective shelf
12. Providing good customer service standards by following Union Coop greeting standards and grooming standard
13. Ensure all the POS areas or equipment are neat and clean and working in proper condition.
