Yachting Partners International is one of the world’s oldest and most trusted yacht brokerages. We take care of some of the most exciting superyachts on the market today. YPI is excited to share a new opening for an accountant at our new office that we are opening in Dubai, UAE.
The position is full-time and can be based in Dubai.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Manage all accounting transactions, end to end accounting process, from data entry in the accounting system to finalization
Organize, secure, and maintain all files, records, in accordance with policies and procedures
Monitor compliance with local regulations
Create debit/credit Notes, control, allocate and reconcile accounts payables and receivables
Develop periodic reports for management
Ensure timely payments and monthly bank reconciliation
Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
Ensure all activities performed are in line with local tax laws and compliant with legal legislation
Manage relationship with third parties (suppliers, banks, auditors and local authorities)
Prepare budget forecasts and handle annual closings
Prepare and publish financial statements in time
Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity
Report directly to the Group Finance Manager
Job requirements:
Bachelors/Master’s in Accounting/Finance
5+ years of experience in core day to day accounting within UAE
Thorough knowledge of accounting and corporate finance principles and procedures
Working knowledge of VAT laws and return filing
Strong attention to detail, good analytical skills
