MCG Talent are recruiting for a successful services on demand startup, who are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to help develop their platform using NodeJS, NestJS and TypeScript. My client have grown to a team upwards of 100 people and are now expanding into asia, building an innovative SaaS solution.
Responsibilities
Design, develop and test features delivered as applications and/or services.
Participate in code reviews to maintain high standards.
Promote clean code principles.
Work in an agile environment using scrum.
Manage and guide junior engineers
Seeing through projects from conception to finished product.
Aligning with developments in web applications and programming languages.
Required qualifications and experience
5+ years Software engineering experience
Degree in Computer Science or similar discipline.
Experience with the following: NodeJS and TypeScript, MongoDB.
NestJS knowledge preferred but not essential
Knowledge of AWS and cloud technologies
Familiarity working with CI/CD pipelines.
