We are currently seeking for experienced Electrical Engineer who has an experience in diesel generating set design, manufacturing processes and testing.
Job Descriptions:
To perform electrical design and items sizing or selection under consideration of technical feasibility, design aspects and specification requirements
Performing electrical calculation and documents preparation such as; power rating sizing, CT sizing, cable sizing, and battery sizing, SLD, WD…etc.
To coordinate and liaise with mechanical engineers during the design process
Preparing an accurate bill of quantity (BOQ) based on the selected items
Cross check bill of quantity (BOQ) against design, drawings and specifications.
Leading draftsmen to execute just in time tasks.
liaising with production team to support during the manufacturing process
To provide sound technical advice and solutions to a diversity of technical problems where required during bid or presales stage.
To carry out electrical discipline work within a project engineering team, and to support production during project execution.
To plan, budget, organize and control a segment of the electrical engineering deliverables for the project
To attend meetings and site surveys, report site conditions and critical parameters in tenders.
Preparation of subcontract package / RFQ and issue the same to subcontractors as applicable.
Coordinate with other engineering disciplines/departments for interface points and compilation of the project.
Organize periodic progress review meetings and coordinate with another discipline to ensure the completion of their inputs on time.
To liaise with the Client’s Engineering, Operations and Maintenance staff as required to ensure a consistent approach for project completion.
To ensure that all electrical output is in conformance with applicable engineering codes and international standards as well as per project technical specifications.
To coordinate with other disciplines during all stages of design development, construction, pre-commissioning, and start-up.
To ensure that all work is completed without compromise to quality and is delivered according to the project milestones.
Required competencies and qualifications:
3 to 5 years’ experience specialized in power generation design.
The Candidates must hold a BSc degree in electrical engineering specialized in power generation
The Candidates should be fluent in English speaking, reading & writing
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
The Candidates should have excellent communication skills
The Candidates are preferred to have a good knowledge of power generator market
Ability to read, analyze and interpret the complicated reports and standards
