Role: Advertising Account Director
The position of Advertising Account Director will suit an ambitious advertising professional who wants a key role in a global, highly successful and rapidly expanding agency.
This is not your conventional account handling job, this is a much interesting role which you will play within our team. We are looking for a passionate candidate who would exceed expectations and project management is the name of his/her game. It goes without saying that being responsible and committed are a key factor which will be the main driver of discipline.
Candidates need to demonstrate:
A proven ability to work with senior clients. You bring the gravitas to stand up to demanding C suite clients.
Demonstrates a high degree of personal responsibility and commitment.
Should have a team player personality with experience in working in a multicultural environment.
Emotionally intelligent, excellent in listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Self-motivated, able to plan work independently and efficiently.
Fast comprehension and eagerness to learn new things.
Ability to manage your own schedule to meet the needs of your customers and team
Has a creative eye and the ability to help conceptualize or provide clear direction for the team to support the business objectives.
Key duties will include:
Runs resources within and across departments, controls timelines and budgets, anticipates issues and deals with problems by providing solutions.
Responsible to nourish the relationship with the client, develop it and cement it.
Putting clients first, interfacing regularly with all client levels and constantly hunting for solutions and big ideas that are innovative and relevant
Monitor and supervise the quality of work.
Essentials:
Minimum 7 years of experience in a similar role at an advertising agency.
Extensive experience in governmental clients/sectors.
Must be detailed oriented with a proven ability to multi-task.
Totally familiar with the creative process and how tasks undergo several stages in order to deliver up to both client and agency’s standards.
Effective communication skills, both in written and verbal form, to interact with cross-functional teams, business units, as well as across other geographies.
Effective in delegating tasks and following up both internally and externally.
Must be a self-starter and effective time manager.
Understands well how the agency operates and demonstrates strong collaboration skills with internal teams, using agency resources to support client’s business effectively and seamlessly.
