Title: Junior Accountant
Function: Accounting and Finance
Reporting to: Chief Accountant
Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Role Functions
Responsible for preparing payments, invoices, receipts, and bank reconciliation in accordance with company policies & procedures.
Accountable for all local accounting entries on ERP system; and the preparation of monthly financial reports in accordance with IFRS.
Serve as the main point of contact for the annual local audit review process
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or any relevant degree
At least 3-4 years of experience as an Accountant in the Wholesale and / or Chemical Industry
Proven knowledge and experience of local taxation rules and requirements
Excellent English communication skills
