As a Senior PR Account Director, you will play a pivotal role within the agency, covering a broad remit of account development and overseeing delivery. As part of the account management team, you will be responsible for ensuring that we understand the required client deliverables and provide a consistent level of service. You’ll be expected to develop partnership relationships with our clients, establishing credibility and becoming a trusted adviser. This could include leading a communications account, or supporting with a communications remit for integrated accounts. Whatever the brief, you’ll focus on client business objectives, being aware of industry and technology trends to support them. You’ll work closely with other members of the PR account team and also help manage project execution as part of cross-functional teams that could include PR/Comms, strategists, data analysts, creatives, media, experience design, events, and technical deployment.
Responsibilities
You will be required to work across a wide range of subject areas, and at times stretch your comfort level in a supportive and dynamic team:
• Manage projects and account responsibilities, working as a team player
• Lead client communications, meetings, and workshops
• Set the strategic direction for client engagements and projects, maintain project vision while possessing a deep understanding of project details, identify and plan ideal solutions to meet clients’ business needs
• Proactively provide clients with strategic insight and problem solving on a consistent basis
• Ensure all strategies and tactics developed support the brand objectives
• Identify up-sell opportunities to drive additional revenue beyond original contracted amount
• Ensure deadlines are communicated and met, demonstrating initiative
• Work with project management to manage individual project budgets
• Establish priorities and ensure team members are aware of their responsibilities
• Arrange meetings and issue accurate minutes as promptly as possible
• Work with project management to prepare proposals and plans
• Ensure that all relevant documentation is stored and well organised
• Keep account team and client up to date with competitive news and market trends
• Identify and cultivating new business opportunities for agency
• Supervise the management of accounts and development of the account team
• Identify and help resolve people/departmental conflicts with practical solutions
• Advocate for staff growth and development while providing clear and regular performance feedback
• Manage and achieve financial targets for client and agency profitability set by the management team
• Contribute towards developing the communications strategy its implementation
• Lead brainstorming sessions on your clients and make key presentations
• Work with the management team to set priorities for the business. Deliver on those goals monthly, quarterly, and annually

Ideal Experience
• 6 years minimum of relevant account management experience across B2C and B2B brands
• Willingness to work on projects that cross into multiple disciplines and industries
• Strong presentation development and storytelling skills
• Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization
• Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
