Responsible for assisting HSE Supervisor & HSE Manager by ensuring that all sites, facilities and services are safe in terms of HSE standards and aimed at legal compliance, continual improvement and customer satisfaction.
 
Key Responsibilities:

· Implement QHSES regulatory and legal compliance requirements (e.g. OSHAD, ADCD, EAD, ADM, etc).
· Implement & maintain regulatory and professional memberships and registrations (e.g. OSHADs, SRA etc).
· Implement legislative NOCs and permits related to QHSES (e.g. from EAD, ADM, etc).
· Implement and maintain QHSES legal register.
· Implement QHSES management system deliverables, process and operational controls.
· Implement the QHSES Risk Management Process.
· Implement and maintain QHSES training & competencies requirements (in-house and/or 3rd party).
· Conduct QHSES inspections and compliance monitoring programmes.
· Provide support for QHSES audits, certifications and accreditation programmes (internal, external, 3rd party).
· Implement QHSES meetings inputs and outputs (with internal, external or 3rd party participation).
· Maintain QHSES communication & consultation (internal & external).
· Perform QHSES incidents investigations, root cause analysis, corrective actions and lessons learnt.
· Implement and maintain QHSES disciplinary actions procedures & QHSES incentives schemes.
· Implement and maintain emergency preparedness & response programmes.
· Implement and maintain fire safety inspection & governance programmes.
· Implement and maintain first aid and medical/health coverage requirements.
· Provide necessary support to HR & Administration in pre and post-employment medical screening programme.
· Maintain liaising with local authorities on relevant trainings & drills (e.g. civil defence, Jahizya trainings etc).
· Maintain equipment calibration, testing and verification (internal and external/3rd party).
· Support public health programmes (e.g. waste management, pest control, sanitization etc).
· Implement and maintain QHSES reports and recordkeeping, dashboards and ERPs.
· Implement and maintain QHSES KPIs and SLAs; including benchmarking and continual improvement programmes and plans.
 
Position Requirements:

· 3 to 5 years relevant experience in similar position in UAE, preferably in Abu Dhabi.
· Strong knowledge of QHSES laws and regulations in Abu Dhabi.
· To be approved OSHAD practitioner, if not he or she pass the Qudorat exam and obtain the certificate within the probation period.
· Experience in both FM and in construction industries.
· NEBOSH IGC is preferred.
· Auditor certificate in ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 is preferred.
· Certified first aider is preferred.
· Advanced command in English.
· Advanced computer literacy.
