Purchasing Agent Job Responsibilities:
Following responsibilities of purchaser but not limited to:
v Verifies purchase requisitions by comparing items requested to the master list and recommends alternatives.
v Provides purchasing planning and control information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
v Forwards available inventory items by verifying stock and delivering schedules.
v Prepares purchase orders by verifying specifications and price while obtaining recommendations from suppliers.
v Secures approval from requisitioning department.
v Manages purchases by forwarding orders to suppliers and monitoring and expediting orders.
v Verifies receipt of items by comparing items received to items ordered; resolves shipment errors with suppliers.
v Authorizes payment for purchases by forwarding receiving documentation.
v Keeps information accessible by sorting and filing documents.
v Updates knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
v Accomplishes purchasing and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

Requirement:
·        Minimum Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, economics or related field.
·        Experience of not less than 2 to 5 years in the Mattresses and Furniture industry must.

·        Salary AED 1500 to AED 2000 depending on Experience and Qualification
