We are seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic and experienced English Second Language Instructor to join our team at British Training Institute in Sharjah. Our Institute is dedicated to providing high-quality language instruction to students of all ages and backgrounds, and we are looking for a professional who shares our passion for language education.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and effective English language lessons to students of varying levels and backgrounds.
- Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback and support to help them reach their full potential.
- Design and implement lesson plans, materials and activities that cater to individual student needs and learning styles.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods, including audio-visual aids, multimedia presentations, and hands-on activities to enhance student engagement and understanding.
- Foster a positive and supportive learning environment that promotes student motivation and success.
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with industry trends and best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, TESOL, Linguistics or a related field.
- A minimum of two years of experience teaching English as a Second Language.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.
- Ability to adapt to new technology and innovative teaching methods.
- Native or near-native proficiency in English.
