Reservation and Ticketing Agent

As Reservation and Ticketing Agent you will be responsible for the processing of ticketing requests submitted by agents as well as responding to service desk inquiries submitted for assistance with booking, pricing, air contract questions, or any related airline queries.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist our clients with ticketing, itinerary building, pricing options, contract questions, waivers and favors, and anything else airline related.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all Air Contracts with all preferred suppliers to advise agents of their profit opportunities.
Advise Flyhub clients on all aspects and benefits of our products and services.
Process ticket requests from agents in multiple GDS systems including exchanges and refunds.
Utilize excellent customer service skills to assist agents in resolving issues with their customer’s travel arrangements.
Ability to manipulate complex international itineraries for the purpose of best pricing options utilizing published and/or Net fare pricing options.
Maintaining B2B, FIT, and Corporate clients as per their requirements.
Encourage and promote agent self-service via the flyhub website & promote flyhub products to the markets.
Stay up to date with international travel trends and travel requirements.
Collaborate with other departments as required to obtain the best outcome for flyhub and the clients.

Knowledge & Skills:

High level of knowledge of the GDS system (Amadeus, Sabre & Galileo).
Knowledge of airline rules and regulations, and reading fare rules.
Ability to work in multiple systems and programs throughout the day.
Verify ticket validity before staging a reservation for exchange.
Resolve Ticket errors
Execute voids, reissues, and refunds as appropriate.
Queue place corrected reservations back to Quality Control as appropriate
Issue tickets and daily use of internal scripts, services, and databases.
Review “Special Requests” added online and take appropriate action to support.
Knowledge of preferred seating process and ancillary services.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree ( Degree in Hospitality, Travel, Tourism will be preferable.)
Minimum 3 years of job experience in a related field.
GDS Experience ( working experience in OTA will be preferable)
