The candidate should have a minimum five-year reporting experience in the UAE and should be fluent in Arabic and English.
We are looking for someone who wants to pursue his/her career as a passionate reporter and who can generate ideas and turn them around as well-written stories. The applicant should be well versed in digital media reporting.
The candidate should be able to track social media handles of UAE and regional government entities and private companies; write breaking news alerts for web and then develop the story further for web and print.
The candidate should be able to regularly cover news events – both in Arabic and English.
He/she should have the ability to conduct interviews in both English and Arabic.
The candidate must have solid community contacts to help him/her source, develop story ideas or verify stories quickly as and when required.
The ideal candidate should be able to produce multimedia content.
