We are looking for a Freelance.net Developer, who is willing to commit and work with confidence and gain our client’s trust.
Core responsibilities:
Undertakes analysis, design, and produces technical specification documentation for new development work and changes to existing applications.
Develops customized solutions leveraging the Microsoft.Net framework, and utilizing ASP.Net, SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and C#
Works as a member of an Agile Scrum team, delivering business value deployments in sprints of 2 weeks.
Acts as a lead technical resource, for Net application-related designs, performance, security, and configuration considerations.
Ensures that solutions adhere to software development best practices and security policies and control standards outlined in the Cigna Information Protection Policy
Ensuring any developed solutions are written to be maintainable, scalable, testable, and deployable.
Essential:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent or a related discipline
Minimum of 5 years experience in supporting and developing .Net C# solutions in a production environment
Expert knowledge/experience in Asp.net web application / ASPX forms
Expert knowledge/experience in jQuery and Angular
Extensive knowledge/experience in oracle PL SQL and SQL
Good knowledge of React.Js, Node.js, and Bootstrap.
Good knowledge of REST/SOAP standards.
Strong experience with Web services, WCF, and Service Orientated Architecture
Excellent problem-solving skills and a flair for reverse engineering complex code.
Comfortable working on a variety of tasks simultaneously with excellent organizational skills.
A passion for .Net and building scalable solutions
Desirable:
Microsoft Certified.
Experience using Microsoft Azure DevOps or Jira
Experience using Crystal Reports
Experience with Qlikview.
Experience gained within a financial services organization
Experience in mentoring and supporting other developers.
Experience working with Agile development methodologies
