Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced Network Resources Expert to manage and optimize our enterprise networking infrastructure, with a strong focus on routing and switching technologies. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Cisco 9300 series switches and other related devices.
Key Responsibilities:
Network Configuration & Management: Configure, manage, and maintain switches, routers, and related networking devices (e.g., Cisco 9300 series).
Routing & Switching Expertise: Expertise in layer 2/3 routing and switching protocols, including VLANs, OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, STP, and others.
Troubleshooting & Diagnostics: Perform network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose network issues. Monitor and maintain performance.
Device Management: Oversee the management and configuration of Cisco network devices and related hardware.
Security Best Practices: Implement and enforce security best practices, including access control, firewalls, and VPN configurations.
Network Documentation: Maintain detailed network topology documentation and configuration records.
Project Management: Lead network-related projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and new implementations.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to align networking infrastructure with organizational needs.
Required Skills:
Proven experience (6+ years) in network management, particularly with routing and switching.
Cisco 9300 series switches expertise.
In-depth knowledge of LAN/WAN networks, TCP/IP protocols, and network management tools.
Hands-on experience with routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, and switching technologies.
Familiarity with network security principles and best practices.
Experience with network monitoring and management tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Cisco DNA Center).
Solid understanding of network performance tuning, QoS, and traffic management.
Certifications:
CCNA (Required)
CCNP or CCIE (Preferred)
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills for collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
