The ideal candidate will have a robust background in quantity surveying, with a deep understanding of the Dubai market and a proven ability to manage complex projects effectively. As a Quantity Surveyor at PFC Group, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Prepare accurate cost estimates and budgets for various projects.
2) Conduct thorough cost analysis and financial forecasting.
3) Manage project costs, including procurement and contract administration.
4) Negotiate with contractors and suppliers to secure the best value.
5) Ensure adherence to Dubai’s construction regulations and industry standards.
6) Review and assess project variations and claims.
7) Provide detailed reports on project financial performance to management.
8) Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to ensure project goals are achieved.
Qualifications:
1) Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
2) Professional certification (e.g., RICS, CQS) is highly desirable.
3) Minimum of 2 years of experience in quantity surveying, with significant experience in the Dubai market.
4) In-depth knowledge of Dubai’s construction regulations and industry practices.
5) Proficiency in quantity surveying software and tools.
6) Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
7) Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
8) Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
