Technical Sales Engineer (m/f/d)

Key Tasks:
Supporting the line manager in specifying market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by on-going visits to customers and prospective customers.
Maintain and/or improve relationships with existing/new clients through regular communication and assist in administrative tasks.
Trouble shoot and provide necessary training to customers when required and as specified by the line manager.
Constantly build new client relationships and secure new business opportunities.
Acting as a contact between a company and its existing and potential markets.
Ensure that all documents related to trouble shooting activities are documented and updated as per company guidelines.
Meet or exceed own sales performance as specified by the line manager.
Requirements:
Understanding of Elevator systems (OEM / Modernization – refurbishment of old elevator machines and inverters).
Hands on experience in elevator mechanical systems and elevator control systems (Specifically: machines and inverters).
Strong electrical background.
Technically and commercially sound.
Good communication skills (reading, writing, speaking – English); Arabic is an added advantage.
Understanding of the current territorial markets to be able to continually best position ZIEHL-ABEGG.
Successfully negotiate with clients converting quotes to orders.
Positive attitude and persuasive.
Proactive, highly motivated and team player.
Ability to work with a multifunctional and diverse team and customer base with minimum supervision.
Adhere to company policies, procedures, and compliance management systems.
