We Are Looking for Food Stuff Procurement Officer for our food stuff company with minimum experience of 2- 5 year in UAE, Will be Responsible for the purchasing, receiving, quality, storage, and utilization of food supplies / products on behalf of our company, In addition, they perform inventory control duties and lead invoicing / financial reporting.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Developing, leading and executing purchasing strategies
Tracking and reporting key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
Crafting negotiation strategies and closing deals with optimal terms.
Determine quantity and timing of deliveries.
Search for new products
Create and maintain good relationships with vendors, suppliers.
Develop and maintain a food management database to keep accurate records of inventory and purchases.
Analyze market and delivery systems
Order products and supplies which includes determining the appropriate vendor (comparing price and quality standards) and entering purchases into the food management database.
Source and recommend new vendors.
Ensure all the items are in stock at the appropriate time.
Receive, verify accuracy and quality of orders before confirming receipt and contacting suppliers of incomplete deliveries and follow up to verify / confirm future delivery expectations.
Ensure food is properly stored and maintained including proper stock rotation (FIFO) in fridges, freezers, etc.
Perform inventory counts on a regular basis, inputting inventory counts into the food management database and works with accounting to reconcile counts.
Use food inventory management database to track the items ordered, amounts used, and costs.
Code invoices, forward to finance for processing of vendor payment and reconcile invoices weekly and/or monthly.
Coordinate the delivery and ensure receipt of products and supplies.
Assist with and/or coordinate the preparation and storage of the ordered items future use.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Proven working experience as Purchasing Manager, Agent or Officer
Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management
Good experience with shipping and clearing .
Bachelor’s degree in procurement, business, finance, or related field
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
Experienced at compiling and following strict budgets
