The applicants should hold a BE or Master Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university, possess more than 12 years of experience in the design of roads and highways out of which 6 years in UAE, fluent in Arabic and English
Key roles and responsibilities:
Design of roads and highways in accordance to professional engineering practice and RTA standards.
Undertaking new road scheme designs to the highest appropriate technical standards.
Working with other professionals involved in the projects.
Providing solutions to transport problems / design difficulties.
Planning and supervising the works of the supporting team on daily basis.
Preparing technical reports.
Adherence to health and safety guidelines
Undertaking risk assessments
Dealing with stakeholders including clients and transport specialists.
Assisting with the preparation of design resource estimates
Provide the required assistance to estimate the construction costs.
Ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within the allocated budgets.
