ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As a consultant, you would help students navigate through every step of the admissions process, from selecting a college list, to zeroing in on a major, to showcasing their authentic voice in a personal statement. For younger students, the role becomes even more impactful. By leveraging their own interests and experiences, counselors help their students find direction inside and outside of the classroom, incorporating plenty of personal development work and self-discovery into each session.
Whether you are providing extracurricular guidance or nurturing academic curiosity, as a Hale counselor, you will tangibly bring your students closer to their dreams and aspirations. You will have the capacity to instill confidence, drive, and purpose into the lives of your students and help deliver a university outcome that suits their unique skills and interests, a process that is just as rewarding for you as it is for them.

CANDIDATES SHOULD HAVE:
A passion for education and mentorship
Time management and the ability to meet deadlines
An undergraduate degree from a top accredited U.S. or Canadian university
Exceptional writing skills
Ability to build meaningful relationships with students and their families
Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and manage timelines
