Our client a Multinational Insurance company is seeking to hire
Medical Underwriter
Location: Dubai
Salary: AED 9000 pm
3 – 4 years UAE medical underwriter experience is a must
Essential Job Functions:
• Review applications for group and individual medical insurance.
• Carefully prepare quotations with appropriate pricing and recommendations within set procedures and timelines. Ensure relevant documents are provided with quotations for client awareness.
• Communicate with the BDEs and Clients (both direct and broker clients).
• Ensure quality documents are produced within Turn-around-time.
• Process New and Renewed policies as per set procedures and timelines.
• Generate renewal notices on monthly basis before hand over to underwriters.
• Train the team before deployment of Change Requests completed by IT.
• Support in regulatory submissions and checks within timelines set.
• Actively engage with other departments where needed to ensure data quality and compliance goals are meet.
• To protect client data with strict compliance measures and scrutinize
• Identify manual processes and escalate to IT with line manager approval. Set up a track and trace record to ensure IT deliverables are achieved on-time
