Oracle and MSSQL DBA
Location: Dubai
Create and support critical database systems for multiple sites using both Oracle and #mssql databases.
Develop and maintain #sql programs, provide advice and assistance to application team for best practices in database implementation and SQL coding
Monitor the performance of Database systems and address issues as they arise.
Provide development and design assistance to development and other application support teams
Worked with the security team to remove vulnerabilities on the database discovered during the security scans.
Oversees capacity planning including CPU utilization and space management. Makes recommendations to improve processes
Develop and improve procedures for monitoring and proactive intervention, preventing customer impact
Works collaboratively with other teams including Project Managers, Developers, and Architects to ensure project success
Follow release management, change management and quality assurance standards
Establish and maintain backup and recovery policies.
Manage and monitor #cloud resources.
