PR Executive (English & Arabic)

Sherpa Communications, a B2B focused PR agency is expanding and looking for a passionate Junior PR Executive or PR Executive to join their Dubai team and support the team with the management of the key agency’s accounts.

This is an exciting opportunity for a fresh graduate or young professional. If you enjoy copywriting, have strong communication skills, can support with analytical research and if you are not afraid of working on projects in construction, logistics or fintech, this can be a perfect position for you.

Strong copywriting skills are essential. Proficiency in English is required. Experience in B2B comms or agency experience will be important. Social media knowledge is a must.

Together we’ll master the world of PR, it may not be always easy, but you can proudly call yourself a PR advisor.

Day-to-day job responsibilities –

· Support with account management (focus on B2B; B2C)

· Research and identification of quality opportunities for clients

· Email communication with clients, bloggers, influencers

· Content creation like press releases, social media posts, interview pitches, articles

· Evaluate opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships and share recommendations with clients

· Measure and provide reports on each PR campaign

· Monitoring of industry news and reporting to clients

· Social media management (creative ideas, content management, recommendations of smart social management)

· Influencer marketing, management of campaigns

· Cultivate new contacts within business, lifestyle and industry media

· Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends affecting clients and make appropriate recommendations

Requirements –

· 1 year plus in a PR role or PR internship in the UAE/Middle East (PR experience in an agency is preferred)

· Experience in B2B; willingness to work on B2B projects

· Exceptional writing and editing skills (English)

· Arabic is required (preferred)

· Switched on attitude who can work fast/ ‘Let’s do it’ person

· Experience in management of social media accounts + active user (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram)

· Analytical and research skills to generate quality results

· Advanced user in ppt, word, and excel to deliver stellar reports; skills in graphic design is a plus

· Process-oriented, with a structured approach to work

· Previous event management experience is a plus (press conferences, support at exhibitions)

· High attention to detail

· Ability to multitask/ Capable to work under tight deadlines / Capable to deliver a quality outcome

· Willing to learn & accept feedback

· A positive and proactive attitude, resourcefulness in solving problems

· Degree in Marketing, Media, Communications or a related discipline
