Urgently looking candidate for Senior Automation Engineer
Location: KEZAD, Abu Dhabi
Minimum Qualifications:
· Four-year technical or engineering degree (Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation)
· Technical post-graduate degree is considered as a plus
Experience:
· Over 12 years of full-time experience in PLC/Level2 automation/MES systems as a programmer.
· Expertise in Siemens PLC (S7-300, S7-Safety & Technology PLC, TIA Portal), CNC, and SCADA systems programming
· Contributed to greenfield and brownfield project development in steel plants/pipe plant software commissioning
· Proven track record in project development and commissioning, adhering to Siemens standards.
· Proficient in programming & configuring S120 and G120 Drives.
· Extensive knowledge of Siemens HMI, Simatic WinCC, communication protocols (Profibus, ProfNet), motion control, and safety-integrated systems.
· Knowledge of OPC servers
· Expertise with TIA Portal libraries, industrial communication, and CNC programming for Siemens CNC systems
· Experience in managing industrial networks, implementing security measures, and overseeing Ethernet communications
· Good understanding of automation systems in steel or metal plants
· Prior experience in leading and working with teams
· Takes responsibility for automation affairs of the entire factory
· Demonstrated leadership in team collaboration and in-depth understanding of electrical and automation systems.
