Jouzy Consulting Engineers is looking to immediately hire a Wet Utility Design Engineer(s) for our Dubai and Abu Dhabi offices.
Responsibilities
Independently carry out design of wet utilities systems like sewerage, storm drainage, potable water, and irrigation networks.
Prepares or/and assists in preparing fundamental engineering computations, design reports, and material quantity takeoffs.
Provides input to CAD Designer/Drafters working on the same project.
Supports, with suitable guidance from senior engineers, the preparation of detailed technical, commercial and Life Cycle Cost Analysis of various technical alternatives.
Supports in preparing the presentations for the Clients.
Creates utility cross sections as per requirements of local authorities in the Gulf region.
Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
Qualifications:
Degree in Civil Engineering from a reputable institution
Minimum 5 years’ experience in design of wet utilities
Familiar with local hydraulic and hydrological modeling softwares
Familiar with load and demand calculations for large private developments and/ or large government projects.
Conversant with Water / Sewerage / and storm drainage authority regulations within the gulf region.
