Position: Mechanical Supervisor, Projects
Experience level: 5+ years
The role:
1. Conceptualize, prepare, and develop comprehensive work packs for all Mechanical scopes required for project planning and execution.
2. Equipment covered (Non-exhaustive): drilling package, main engines, hydraulic systems, all pumps, jacking systems
3. Coordinate with customer Rig and project teams to evaluate the condition of the assets including contractual and local requirements.
4. Review and update existing asset maintenance records
5. undertake comprehensive yard visits to evaluate the condition of existing assets
6. hands-on experience with Maximo and other CMMS systems
7. able to develop a bill of material for any equipment either in operations or for overhaul
8. proficient in reading engineering drawings
9. able to provide a list of tools and resources(manpower) and a potential timeline for equipment overhaul
10. be able to define the critical path for all equipment overhauls for project execution
11. undertake rig and onsite visits as necessary
12. visit vendor establishments for overhaul review and updates including factory acceptance test
13. generate progress update reports for management and customers
14. ensure all work is carried out as safely and efficiently as possible
15. undertake on-site supervision of equipment overhauls in customer’s umm yard or facility
16. work closely with the project manager to identify any potential project delays
17. assist project engineer to compile and file all project documentation
18. Keep updated on all manufacturers’ product information bulletins and any changes to legislation both local and global
Skills Required:
1. MS Office
2. Cost-Management and Control measures
3. Supply-chain principles.
4. Driving License(desired)
