The ideal candidate will be responsible to drive business growth in the region by coordinating and monitoring the region MEA Growth Strategy. Work with various stakeholders and support the project team on developing high level and detailed project plans, resolve barriers and problems, and track the progress to ensure a successful project implementation.
Responsibilities
Prepares timely and actionable analysis, forecasts, and recommendations for assigned projects to ensure achievement of business objectives.
Develops and follows up appropriate processes and procedures for accomplishing work.
Participates in project team meetings with stakeholders and clients to discuss issues, direction, and implementation strategies.
Develops and maintains a productive working relationship with project team members and other key stakeholders by establishing and maintaining regular communication.
Communicates project progress and status to senior management.
Monitors and support the execution of the regional strategy on both regional and country level.
Uses processes and methods involving complex techniques with some degree of autonomy but under supervision of a direct manager.
Proactively brings in ideas to ensure seamless strategy implementation.
Actively participates and shapes collaborative workshops on conceptualization topics jointly with the project management team.
Develops communication plan for regional strategy.
Coordinates interviews with various stakeholders to ensure and align a streamlined communication, targeting all employees, of the strategy.
Develops country deep dive documentations (analyzing macroeconomics, politics, socials, and market opportunities for DB Schenker in various countries) and other documents as required.
Supports and guides DB Schenker countries on the development of standardized presentations (internal and external focus).
Ensures a high level of quality for any documentation that will be shared by DB Schenker countries.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent; generally, requires directly related experience in a project management role, with 7 – 10 + years of experience
Strong business acumen in project planning and management is essential and excellent management skills
Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills
Strong analytical and organizational skills
A good conversationalist with effective stakeholder management & conflict resolution skills.
A good team player
Strong understanding of Project Management principles and methodology i.e., the project description, the project span, quality, needed resources, possible risk, relevant regulations and guidelines, relevant tools, and methods available for execution
Proficiency in analyzing and solving problems related to projects
Strong ability to give attention to details
Strong knowledge and prowess in using modern communication technologies to projects
Ability to be proactive and independent, and to be interdependent on the team
Ability to build and maintain productive working relationships with all stakeholders, at all levels of the organization
Ability to work with employees from different departments
