We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Project Manager to lead and oversee the build of integrated IT systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, with a specific focus on system integration. The Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating various aspects of the project, including budgeting, scheduling, resource allocation, risk management, and ensuring successful project delivery within specified timelines.

Responsibilities

  • Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans based on the scope outlined by the sales team. Collaborate with stakeholders to communicate strategic objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Scheduling: Develop and maintain project schedules, identifying critical path activities and milestones. Proactively manage changes and deviations from the schedule.
  • Budget Management: Create and manage project budgets, closely monitoring expenditures and controlling costs throughout the project lifecycle. Own accountability for the project remains within budget constraints.
  • Resource Allocation: Allocate resources effectively, including people, equipment, and materials, to ensure smooth project execution. Coordinate with various teams to optimize resource utilization.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Regularly assess project risks and implement appropriate actions to minimize their impact on project outcomes.
  • Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with internal teams, customers, vendors, and subcontractors. Provide regular project updates, reports, and presentations to stakeholders.
  • Quality Control: Establish and enforce quality standards throughout the process. Conduct inspections and audits to ensure that the work meets industry standards and client expectations and adheres to the process flow.
  • Health and Safety: Prioritize and enforce safety protocols on the project site to create a secure working environment for all project participants. Comply with relevant safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Contract Management: Review and negotiate contracts with vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers. Ensure that all parties adhere to contractual agreements and terms.
  • Change Management: Handle project changes and scope adjustments effectively, assessing their impact on timeline, budget, and resources. Obtain necessary approvals for changes from relevant stakeholders.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and organized project documentation, including contracts, permits, drawings, and other relevant records.
  • Any other reasonable responsibilities as directed by the Management.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in Project Management, with a focus on systems integration or related fields.
  • Strong knowledge of the IT infrastructure industry.
  • Proficiency in Project Management Software Microsoft Project, Primavera P6) and collaboration tools.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
