About the Role:

We are looking for a Technical Support Engineer to be responsible for the Installation & Commissioning of food processing equipment primarily for the Middle East & Asia region & supporting other branches globally as & when required.

This individual should possess strong analytical skills & self-motivation & team player to drive the team at the site to finish the job on time.

This position will be based in Dubai, in our DAFZA office Reporting to the After Market & Technical Manager and providing Technical Support during start-up commissioning, installations, preventative maintenance and renovations of processing equipment.

Key responsibilities:

As part of our Technical Support team, you will be required to carry out installations, commissioning, and maintenance of TNA equipment.

Provide routine maintenance and planned servicing of tna equipment in accordance with service agreements and schedules.
Provide training to customers (and co-workers) in relation to proper operation, preventative maintenance, and fault finding of tna equipment.
Provide input and feedback to the Product Development Team, relating to product modifications, faults and development potential
Promote the value of tna’s original spare parts and upgrades to our customers.
Develop strong professional relationships with all customers and provide feedback to the Sales Team regarding prospective capital investment obtained through such relationships.
Upwards of 80% travel, at short notice, both locally and overseas, including some weekends.
Be a team player and assist your peers as and when required.

Qualifications

Qualifications in electrical & electronics engineering. Having mechanical knowledge is an added advantage.

Work Experience :

5-6 years of experience with a strong focus on installation, commissioning & service of VFFS Machines.
Experience in a field engineering role, dealing with electrical, mechanical and software issues is considered highly.
Exposure to the FMCG manufacturing industry (specifically food manufacturing and packaging) is advantageous.

Skills & Abilities:

Mechanical Aptitude, methodical and well-organised.
Ensures a collaborative approach and is able to seek and listen to feedback Self-motivated and driven, able to work unsupervised.
Ability to seize opportunities to cross-sell tna’s services.
Identification with tna values including being a team player, passionate, professional, committed, honest and treating people with dignity and respect.
Able to handle multiple time-sensitive projects, be flexible and work accurately & efficiently under pressure.

Proficiency in the English language.
