Ensure all the information on the company website is kept up to date. Install servers and configure the hardware, peripherals, services, settings, and directories and ensure that there are adequate storage facilities in accordance with the relevant standards and project/operational requirements.
· Perform routine system monitoring, verify the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems, and key processes, review system and application logs, and verify completion of scheduled jobs.
· Perform routine backup operations, ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up to the appropriate media, and/or recovery tapes or disks are created.
· Monitor the backups at least once a month in order to correct errors, identify any other problems, and take corrective action to reduce any risks associated with backups.
· Perform regular file reviews and purge as necessary.
· Repair hardware and recover data as a result of hardware or software failures.
· Ensure all configurational details are kept confidential.
· Apply Operative System patches and upgrades, upgrade administrative tools and utilities on a regular basis, and configure/add new services as necessary.
· Ensure all soft copies of documents and records relevant to the company’s operations are stored in adequate storage facilities.
· Carry out the work in accordance with the relevant QHSE requirements of the company
· Ensure all the information on the company website is kept up to date.
· Deputies the relevant competent personnel if any situation arises where he/she is unable to carry out the above job functions.
Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field.
